Northern Christmas Silent Auction: December 1st-19th
We will be auctioning carvings, beaded moccasins and other handcrafts by Inuit, First Nations and northern artists that have been donated to us over this year in our Northern Christmas Silent Auction, which will run from now until December 19th. All proceeds from this auction will be going to the Humane Society at the suggestion of Dennis Shorty, whose moose antler carving is one of our headlining pieces. Donation information:
If you can hang onto your donations until after Christmas, that is when we will have space in our warehouse again. We will be holding a drop-off at our store location on Sunday, December 28th from 1:00-3:00 for 2 bags of clothes and 2 boxes of housewares (that our volunteers are able to lift - we still have to transport things to our warehouse)
Please email love2thriftyukon@ gmail.com for appointments or pick-ups (we schedule up to 30 people per week). If you can't wait for an appointment with us, Raven's ReUseful takes clothing anytime in their Red Bins and has drop-off days every week for other items. There are free stores at Deep Creek, Mount Lorne or Marsh Lake
